Goodbye Cruel World

Goodbye Cruel World is an artistic and anthropological examination of a changing neighborhood. Taking place at the General Public Collective gallery in the heart of Indy's Fountain Square cultural district, these artifacts and artworks speak to the culture of the neighborhood through the analogy of it's Value World Thrift Store. The works examine the deeper meaning of value as it pertains to different contexts. They harken to a fringe urban culture, with all of its unique quirks and flaws, that is slowly dissipating like the fog of an e-cigarette…

Goodbye Cruel World is about the past and the future of Fountain Square, Indianapolis.
